Some wedding packages include engagement portraits at your choice of locations. I highly recommend engagement portraits because they help you get used to being photographed. Engagement albums make great guest books because they are a press product. I can also have mini-engagement albums made as favors or brag books.

I am available for birth coverage in State College, PA with no fee for travel. Birth coverage includes a maternity session, up to 8 hours of labor & birth documentation, 4x6 designer proofs with sloppy borders, a dvd slideshow, custom album design and custom birth anouncement design. To see a sample birth album, contact me. Birth albums are not press books, they are Kingston Flushmount Albums. These are the same albums I use for weddings.
If you live more than a couple hours from State College, PA, don't worry. I am available to fly anywhere in the US as long as expenses are covered and I do not have any prior bookings for that week. Births are much more predictable than most people think and any skilled midwife or OBGYN can usually tell what day you are going to give birth with very good accuracy.

I can make traditional portraits and headshots for business needs, but I prefer to make portraits that capture who you are and what you are into. Personal portraits are like a time capsule, so don't be afraid to bring you current moods, styles and hobbies to the shoot. Be as weird / happy / meloncholy / wild / tame / sexy / shy as you feel. Your only regret will be if they are the only portraits you ever take, because that moment will define you for all time. Portraits are something that are priceless and irreplaceable and you will never, ever regret having too many made or making them too personal.

My method of photographing young children is to just follow them around. No joke. Kids burn out so fast when they are pressured to pose. That's why there are so many meltdowns in the mall.
